It’s been two years since the FIFA World Cup, which means that it’s time to turn to Europe’s most important international soccer competition.

When is Euro 2024?

The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship will be taking place from June 14, 2024, to July 14, 2024. 

The first game will be taking place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, seeing Germany face Scotland, while the final will be staged in Berlin.

Euro 2024 will be taking place across Germany, with ten host cities and ten stadiums set to stage the games of the 24-team tournament. 

The west of Germany will be the busiest, with Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, and Cologne all offering their stadiums to the competition. 

Towards the south of the country, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Munich will feature, while Hamburg is the most northerly city of Euro 2024. 

To the east, the capital city of Berlin will stage several games, including the final, as will Leipzig, which will provide the only stadium based in the old East Germany. 

Who Are the Euro 2024 Favourites?

There are two frontrunners who lead the Euro 2024 odds, with them both currently sitting on the same odds in the futures betting. 

Both England and France enter as the soccer odds favourites at +350. The former is the runner-up of Euro 2020, while the latter is the runner-up of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Following England and France, Germany (+600), Spain (+700), and Portugal (+750) come into the tournament as the dark horse contenders. 

While England have placed well in recent tournaments and Spain are on the ascendency, France remain the powerhouse of European soccer.

What Time Will Euro 2024 Games Start in Canada?

Games at Euro 2024 will be played in the CEST time zone, which is seven hours ahead of EST and ten hours ahead of PST. 

During the Group Stage, three kick-off times have been pencilled in each day, which offer Canadian start times of:

  • 15:00 CEST: 8:00 ET, 5:00 PT

  • 18:00 CEST: 11:00 ET, 8:00 PT

  • 21:00 CEST: 14:00 ET, 11:00 PT

What Channel Will Show Euro 2024 in Canada?

Italy were dominant throughout, but England managed to take them to a penalty shootout. It began with a miss for both teams, followed by another England miss. 

In the end, with Domenico slotting away the winner, Italy walked away as the 3-2 shootout winners and the champions of Europe. 

When Does the Euro 2024 Knockout Stage Start?

The knockout stage of Euro 2024 commences with the Round of 16 on June 29. On this day, the runners-up of Group A and Group B will play in Berlin while the Winner of Group A and runner-up of Group C will battle in Dortmund. 

When Is the Euro 2024 Final?

The Euro 2024 Final will be taking place in Berlin at the famed Olympiastadion on July 14, 2024. 

The premier stadium of the German capital can hold 74,667 spectators and is well accustomed to staging huge events – including the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final.

Who Is the Euro 2024 Mascot?

The mascot for Euro 2024 is the cheery little bear named Albärt. He defeated three other bear-pun mascots to win with a 32 percent share of the vote.
